For Sale: Charles Paddock CPB-OB Open Back Banjo w/ Crossrock Gigbag rare find (sold)

I bought this banjo from Bernunzio Uptown Music. They sell a lot of this makers banjos. They are amazing craftsmanship. This banjo has a bright tone and great clarity. I have barely played this banjo and clearing out some instruments. If you have questions let me know. Take a listen to some of his banjos on YouTube... Bernunzio has posted some videos of other models. It is a brighter tone, however, it can be changed up by using a different banjo head. That is preference. I enjoy the tone as it stands now!

Comes with a Crossrock gig bag. Fifth string capo on headstock doesn’t come with banjo I forgot to remove it before pictures. I will toss a brand new pack of strings in the gig bag. It could use some new ones. GHS Americana Series PF200 set.

This is one of seven custom banjos built by Charles Paddock, a Lancaster NY based expert luthier and mechanical engineer who constructed a small number of professional grade stringed instruments from 2010-2016. This example is Mr. Paddock's only open-back banjo, and features an 11" wooden rim held together with finger joints (mahogany/maple); hooks secure tension hoop with curved metal pieces; metal tonering and tension hoop; two coordinating rods (one enclosed in a tapered dowel made from mahogany and maple). 26-1/4" three piece neck with rosewood fingerboard. Setup with Five Star Planetary tuners, with Kershner style reproduction tailpiece.
